Manash Goswami

Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager

Manash Goswami joined First Asset in 2007 and is responsible for managing several equity mandates with a focus on investing in companies with the ability to sustain and grow dividends. Manash has been recognized by Brendan Wood International (BWI) as one of Canada's top ranked portfolio managers, achieving Platinum Class by being named one of the TopGun Investment Minds in Canada consecutively since 20131. He has a broad range of industry expertise, including energy, energy infrastructure, and utilities.

Prior to joining First Asset, Manash was a Research Associate at Scotia Capital covering the Canadian energy infrastructure sector. Manash also worked at a boutique investment bank specializing in structured finance products.

Manash holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours (Biology & Economics) from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, and a Masters of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. In addition, he holds the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
