January 23, 2006 - Global 45 Split Corp. announces the following changes to the list of companies included in its Portfolio as a result of its annual rebalancing. The following companies have been added to the Portfolio (industry sector in brackets): Rio Tinto PLC (basic materials), China Mobile (Hong Kong) Ltd. (communications), Nokia OYJ (communications), Lowe's Companies, Inc., (consumer, cyclical), Royal Dutch Shell PLC (energy), Electricite de France (utilities), and Suez SA (utilities).
The following companies have been removed from the Portfolio: E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company (DuPont) (basic materials), NTT DoCoMo Inc. (communications), Telefonica S.A. (communications), Target Corporation (consumer, cyclical), ENI S.p.A. (energy), National Grid PLC (utilities) and The Tokyo Electric Power Company, Inc. (utilities).
